Charles D. Amun-Rah, MS Ed., New York City Department of Education:
"As an Occ. Ed. Teacher, I have used many different typing programs in the past, including Mavis Beach and Gregg
College Keyboarding. I now use Almena exclusively because I find its presentation and student success rate to be
superior to the other programs"
Howard M. Brown, Coordinator, District of Columbia Public Schools:
"We were able to move this population to 50 wpm within a month's time with the proper time on task. This is, of
course, much faster than can be expected with any approach other than your own."
William Wingo, Principal, CC Lambert Elementary School
"It is truly inspiring to observe our students as they learn keyboarding skills, then begin to use them within the
classroom. I have observed an enthusiasm for technology, enhanced self-esteem and excitement for reading and
writing as a result of your excellent keyboarding program."
The Orange County Register, Business Section
"Her claims are substantiated by commendations from the New York City Department of Education, the District of
Columbia's public schools, Los Angeles Unified School District, the Ministry of Education and Culture in Kingston,
Jamaica, and Orange County Schools in Tustin, Orange, Newport Beach and soon, said King, in the Capistrano

I wanted to share with you our pleasure in the use of your superb typing program for our students...By the end of the first day, all the students knew every letter on the keyboard. By the end of the second day, they were able to type full sentences.
The faster and more accurate a student is able to type, the more productive they will be. Thank you for your wonderful tool and dedicated support. Our students, our teachers and our parents appreciate the help you have provided.
Neil A. Kime, Vice President, Employee Development - COUNTRYWIDE

I found the approach to be easy and enjoyable, based on the progress I have made using the method, I am convinced of its tremendous use as a productivity/teaching aid. I therefore highly recommend the Almena Method for improving keyboard skills.
Donald Foster, Senior Director - The HEART Trust/NTA
The Almena Method for teaching "Touch Typing" and the "Computer Skills - Quick and Easy"
by Almena King have been officially utilized in the training programmes Human Employment And Resource Training Trust/National Training Agency.
An evaluation of the methodology being used within HEART Trust/NTA's training system shows that instructors who have been trained in other methodologies expressed a bias towards the "Almena - Quick and Easy" method. They are of the view that it is a quick and effective way to learn keyboarding skills and that trainees are more comfortable learning this method; in other words, it makes for easy instruction and learning.
We recommend the "Almena - Quick & Easy" and "Touch Typing" methodology as being very economical and effective for training.
Arlie F Dyer, Assistant Chief Educational Officer Technical/Vocational Unit
MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND CULTURE - JAMAICA
Your method of teaching keyboarding has emmensely enhanced the Business Education programmes now offered. The early success rate of this metholology is a motivating factor to both students and teachers as they find that they are able to cover the basics of keyboarding in a short time. Teachers are enthused as they find that your methods are less stressful, stimulating, refreshing and are convinced that your technique enriches the teaching/training process.
The Ministry of Education and Culture recommends "Keyboard Skills" to any institution or training system wishing to introduce keyboarding to beginning students.
